Vision
To create a positive learning environment that will give each player the opportunity to achieve their soccer and life goals!

Mission
Doug Miller Soccer (DMS) is committed to providing each of our players and members a world-class environment for soccer training focused on player development. The core principles of Doug Miller Soccer are Desire, Determination, Dedication, Respect and Integrity. These principles are the foundation in which DMS players learn the game of soccer. The DMS training environment provides each player a venue to become the best player they can be, and most importantly through Soccer, learn life’s important lessons!

Philosophy
In soccer, we need to understand development. What we sow today (Practice) will produce results at a later time with a greater result. We understand that the training we do today will not produce results today, or even tomorrow, but will produce great results in time. For example, working on our shooting will development great technique and possibly a great goal scorer. Development is about later and greater. It takes duplication of the correct motions over and over again. The other side of development is not training, bad habits, non-commitment & non-sacrifice. This principle is not about the later or greater, but about the winning and now. Whereas development always delivers but not always on our time but "IN TIME". We must be patient and diligent in our training habits. Those who stay true to this will in time be successful. Each player must be aware of the desire, determination, dedication, respect and integrity that it takes to become the best we can be. Some want results immediately without the effort. We want the starting position on the team without the hard work. It is all about the want without the work, and it is everywhere in sports. We must remember that to be considered great, we must make everyone around us better including ourselves. Always focus on what you can do better for the TEAM and to demand more from your teammates and yourself. If we do these things we will ALL be successful in our program.
